Blend of 8 and 18-month-old ale carefully matured in oak casks. Refreshingly sour and fruity taste with hints of apples, raisins, and a long, dry acidic finish. Brewed in honor of Mary of Burgundy, daughter of Charles the Bold - Duke of Burgundy. By marrying Archduke Maximilian of Austria (in doing so snubbing the son of King Louis XI of France) she bought peace to the region. However, she died tragically after being thrown from a horse while falconing, hence the falcon on the label.
